<p><strong>TIME - n. </strong><em>The unlimited continued progress </em><em>of existence and events in the past, present and future.</em></p>
<p>Popular legend has it that Marco Polo introduced pasta to Italy following his exploration of the Far East in the late <a href="http://www.timelineindex.com/content/select/1546/44,1574,1577,1546" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration:none;">13th century</span></a>; however, fourth century B.C. <a href="http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/ROME/ETRUSCAN.HTM" target="_blank">Etruscan</a> tombs show natives making what appears to be pasta. The Chinese were making a noodle-like food as early as 3000 B.C. And Greek mythology suggests that the Greek God Vulcan invented a device that made strings of dough (the first spaghetti!).</p>
<p>Now here I stand, in my kitchen hovering over a pot of boiling water counting down the eleven minutes until my pasta is done.  On the wall next to me is a calendar.  Days and weeks all lined up on a page.  I think about where I will be in a month and how I really need to get organized as it October already and deadlines will soon be upon me.   Time is a funny thing. One minute your sitting in your room at sixteen wondering what you will be like in twenty years and the next minute you are standing in front of a boiling pot of water and you have kids and a career and a mortgage payment and it went by so quickly, yet the ten minutes for the pasta is an eternity.   Maybe that's what <a href="http://www.worsleyschool.net/science/files/emc2/emc2.html" target="_blank">E=MC2</a> really means.</p>
<p>It's not a new concept Time, in fact I suspect that once we got out of the cold, and into the caves (or maybe it was after <a href="http://www.theoi.com/Titan/TitanPrometheus.html" target="_blank">Prometheus</a> stole fire for us and we stopped staring down at the ground and began to follow the path of the smoke up and out) we began to perceive time through our thoughts.  Still we couldn't control it.<!--more-->  So I suspect the initial struggle to understand Time led to the study of astronomy.  Temples were erected. Unwieldy <a href="http://www.crystalinks.com/stonehenge.html" target="_blank">blue stones</a> were piled up.  We got our bearings on a big scale, figuring out seasons, solstices and my personal favorite the Vernal Equinox.  Due to this knowledge of time we transitioned from a hunter-gathering society to an agricultural world.   Loosely translated this means: No Stonehenge.  No Einstein.   And no Einstein means no talk of "<a href="http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2005/16nov_gpb.htm" target="_blank">Space -Time</a>", you know that scary term that physicists love to talk about but in reality isn't all that hard to understand.  Just imagine a net, stretched out flat in the air.  Now let's toss a weighted ball into the net.  Everything in the net bends to support the weight of the ball.  Now let's imagine that the ball is spinning, and as it spins, it makes the net twist and turn and then toss in a sun, and put a clock on the boiling face of it, and for some reason,  it'll tick slower than on earth - but if a person in a spaceship were passing by it would seem to be going faster....</p>
<p>Yeah, I don't get it either. I prefer to think more poetically.</p>
<p>T.S. Eliot argued that all time is eternally present, but he was just ripping off St. Augustine who said the same thing about a thousand years earlier.  I have to note that my mother has a long-standing beef with St. Augustine mostly because he was, ‘a real bastard to his wife'.  Augustine's writings on Time (see T.S. Eliot's <a href="http://www.tristan.icom43.net/quartets/norton.html" target="_blank">Burnt Norton</a>) were no doubt influenced by the fact that before he became a father of the Church he was a hard living, womanizing, Algerian beatnik who followed the prophet Mani.  Followers of Mani believed that the universe was the temporary result of an attack from the realm of darkness on the realm of light.  If this is the case, perhaps the Mayans were onto something when they declared that 2012 is the ‘end year' during which we have to make some sort of collective soulful evolutionary push or we're going to go caput.  Though if Mani was right, we're living in darkness so perhaps things will be shaping up or maybe it doesn't matter because all time is eternally present. Still science would argue differently. According to the <a href="http://www.earthbreathing.co.uk/sr.htm" target="_blank">Schumann Resonance</a> of Earth time is speeding up.  According to the Pulse, which is measured by the military, the Earth has been 7.83 cycles per second for a seriously long time, but in 1980, it started rising (I blame Patti Smith's marriage to Fred "Sonic" Smith).  It's now over 12 cycles per second, which means that there is the equivalent of less than 16 hours per day instead of the old 24.   Still I can't feel that, and it doesn't affect my pasta, so what's it to me? I'm just a spec of chemical scum (Stephen Hawking's words not mine) living on a spinning planet though I have always loved the idea that time could stand still and according to the Zero Time people, it's going to stand still for about two days (circa 2012), and then it's going to go in the opposite direction and this apparently is going to be a good thing (for more on that see <a href="http://www.indopedia.org/Mani_(prophet).html" target="_blank">Mani</a>).</p>
<p><a href="http://webcast.berkeley.edu/course_details.php?seriesid=1906978475" target="_blank">Heidegger</a> always claimed that Time is just a horizon for the understanding of being.  It's a structural factor for Da Sein, which means ‘being there' but looks like Daikon, which is a pickled radish enjoyed by Asian cultures.  It is claimed, but not historically supported, that a Buddhist monk called <a href="http://www.zenstoriesofthesamurai.com/Characters/TakuanSoho.htm" target="_blank">Takuan</a> first made this pickle. I wonder what Takuan thought of time.  If he followed Buddhist doctrine then for him events merely flowed as time, thus reducing time to a cosmic taxi-cab and nothing more.  The only true reality was the now.  Which brings me back to pasta.</p>
<p>A hundred years ago in Brooklyn, a Frenchman opened the <a href="http://www.zerega-genealogy.com/" target="_blank">first industrial pasta factory</a> in America.  He used to spread his spaghetti strands on the roof to dry in the sunshine.  Thinking of those strands makes me think of that imaginary net, inside which we're all spinning and rotating.  </p>
<p>Thirty seconds to go...</p>
<p>And now I'm thinking about the beginning of it all.  After all if 2012 is the end, how did it all start?   For that answer I turn to <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Cosmicomics-Italo-Calvino/dp/3446151524/ref=pd_bbs_sr_6?ie=UTF8&#38;s=books&#38;qid=1199926075&#38;sr=8-6" target="_blank">Italo Calvino</a>.  The mac-daddy of all things cosmic and good.  According to him, they were all there, in the velvety darkness, packed in like sardines, when one particle suggested to a few others that if she had room she'd make them some noodles. </p>
<p>And all at once <em>BANG! </em></p>
<p>Time began...</p>
<p>Over a plate of pasta.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">A wise man is some one who enjoys the best that life offers.  The Bible contains extra-ordinary wisdom as it is God's revelation to man.  It contains promises for life here and life here-after.  "for bodily exercise is profitable for a little; but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life which now is, and of that which is to come" (1Tim.4:8). If one will follow all regulations of the OT about food, sanitation and morality, one can be sure of a healthy and a happy life here on earth,  The NT, on the other hand, offers ways to enjoy  the eternal bliss.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">The verse quoted above was written about 3000 years ago by King Solomon who is considered the wisest of men. </span></span><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">What he said at that time is now discovered by modern scientists now with exact accuracy about the way how human brain functions. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">It is a common knowledge today that our brain is divided in to left and right and they have essentially different functions.  It is also known today that our brain produces electric pulses as it vibrates regularly.  The electric pulses produced when our eyes are open and when we do any physical activity are at 14-21 cycles per second (cps).  When our eyes are open, it is the left side of our brain which is activated and it is analytical in nature and activity oriented in function.  But when we close our eyes and begin to concentrate on some thing, the right side of our brain begins to be activated and the vibration or pulse rate is reduced to 7-14 cps.  This is the centre of our brain and it takes us to the strongest part of our mind power which is on the right side.   When we sleep the cps reaches 4-7 and in a deep sleep it is 0-4 which is kind of unconscious stage.  The right side brain then controls all our internal organs.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">The activity of our brain between sleep and wake up, that is,  the position with eyes closed in a relaxed mood when we concentrate on some thing is the creative and intuitive part of our mind and it is the centre of our brain's activity. It is called the Alpha mind.  If some one is able to cultivate the habit of remaining in this position of the mind for some time regularly, it is said to have enormous effect on one's active life. Unfortunately, though the Bible talked about it long before the modern scientists discovered it, the Bible believers do not get the benefit out of this ancient Bible revelation. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">How shall we get practical benefits from this Bible revelation about how our mind works? This is what we actually do when we pray.  Christ whos is the Eternal Word lives in our hearts by faith (Eph.3:17) in all believers.  When we close our eyes and concentrate on Him we get in to touch with Him.   All we need to do now is to discipline ourselves to strict timing and for regular practice of this contact with the divine in us. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">1.  Twice a day set apart a minimum of fifteen minutes each as soon as waking up and just before going to bed.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">2.  Sit up straight with your legs stretched and body straight and the body relaxed.  A kneeling position with hands and head slightly lifted up with eyes closed is found to have tremendous effect for prayer.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">3.  Take a deep breath and release it slowly after closing your eyes.  It helps with the circulation of blood in our body.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">4.  Concentrate your mind on God and on His goodness to you and thank Him for all good things you enjoy in life one by one.  Say it loudly to yourself so that you can hear what you say so that your concentration is not lost.  Do it for the first five minutes.  You may sing of praise at this time instead, with eyes closed and with full concentration.  We are told that He lives up on the praises of His people (Ps.22:3).</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">5. Take another deep breath and release it slowly.   Then for the next five minutes repeat to yourself a verse of Scripture which assures you of God's wonderful work in your life.  You may say it aloud to yourself, "I am a child of God through Christ", or say "God has blessed me with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" or say, "The Lord is my shepherded, and I shall not want" or "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".  And visualize yourself as safe and sound in the hands of the Lord.  Do this for a minimum of five minutes. And never entertain any negative thought any time in your life (Ph.l.4:8,9).  It is called positive affirmations.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">6.  Then take another deep breath and continue with eyes closed to pray for others and pray for your needs for the day.  And take your time for it. Our Lord said, </span><span style="font-size:13.5pt;">"For truly I say to you that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be moved and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he said shall occur, he shall have whatever he said (Mk.11:23). It is called creative visualization</span><span style="font-size:small;">.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">7.  Do it at the same time daily with out fail with eyes closed and in full concentration.  Force yourself to do it by discipline for the first three weeks.  If you can do it for three weeks, it will become a habit with you and you can do it with out much difficulty later on.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="font-size:14pt;">What actually happens is that when you close your eyes and concentrate on some thing, your right brain is activated and your subconscious mind gets the message instantly.  Because the vibration level is low there, it affects your whole system.  Your tension will be relieved and problems related to tension will begin to reduce slowly.  Practice it daily just as you have your food at the correct time or just as you take medicines prescribed by a doctor.  You will soon find that your body becomes healthier and your dependence on other medicines will be reduced to a minimum.  Many have benefited from this practice.  I invite you too to enjoy life at its best and be wise as God expects us to be.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">May I add one more word.  The more time you are able to spend in this condition is better for you and for others around you.  And it will bring glory to God ultimately as we are actually in touch with Him all the time we are doing this. In other words, when we pray we are functioning like a fully charged mobile phone with the right connections.<span>  </span>We are sending the power of God as electronic pulses to the recipient (the one for whom we are praying) through our minds.   The only difference is that when we are sending the message (i.e. when we pray) we are also charging our batteries at the same time!!  So less time in prayer means a poorly charged battery.  And no time in prayer means batteries are fully discharged.   So I suggest a minimum of one hour daily as ideal for every one.  But with out fifteen minutes at a time twice a day it may not yield much desired results at all.  Try this out and share with us how it has worked for you.  Thanks.</span></span></p>

<p>My greatest desire currently is to grow deeper into the heart of empathy and compassion. To do this I have had to dissect my world-view, the frames with which I think and view the world and other human <em>beings. </em>I have had to become more aware of my sticking points, my own capacity for bigotry against those who think differently than me. To do this I have to be really honest with myself about those I have hurt, and I have to honestly forgive those who have hurt me. I have to seek reconciliation on both fronts. I think I am getting better ... but jeez is this a long process! My sticking point it seems are those who I perceive as not being empathetic to other <em>beings</em> such as the poor, the suffering, the disenfranchised, the fragile eco-systems of the earth - the list could go on for quite a while. And yet to have a truly compassionate heart I must find ways of having compassion for these less than empathetic folks too, without letting go of the search for justice. I believe justice is not just for me, not just for you, but for everyone - and by justice I don't mean punitive justice, but reconciling justice - the kind that makes each being into the fulness of who they or it can be. Many have said we are all interconnected and until all are fully the beings they are meant to be I cannot be who I am meant to be, you cannot be who you are meant to be. I believe this to be true.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are two battles to be waged in the Christian Church today and at all times. These two issues determine our answers for all other areas of Christian life. All the doctrinal nitpicking we do set aside, if we could agree on these two points, there would be far less to disagree about. There are far reaching consequences if we do not properly address the questions 1) Who is God and 2) What is the Bible?</p>
<p>Forty-five years ago AW Tozer penned the words, "The view of God in evangelicals is so below who the God of the Bible is as to constitute idolatry." I daresay it has only worsened since. To many pastors and churches today, God is not the sovereign, Almighty, Holy God of the Bible. Actually, He's beginning to look more and more like us. Those created in the image of God have recreated God in their own image, and this is idolatry.</p>
<p>It stems from our thoughts about Scripture; its purpose, efficacy, and sufficiency.</p>
<p>If Scripture is the Word of God, then it is "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16b-17)."</p>
<p>If Scripture is the Word of God it "will not return empty" (Isaiah 55:11). It will accomplish God's purposes in revealing Himself to all who would seek Him.</p>
<p>If Scripture is the Word of God, then it is sufficient for us (Sola scriptura). The Scriptures are our final authority reaching every part of our lives as followers of God through His Son, Jesus Christ.</p>
<p>If Scripture is the Word of God, then our Creator and Redeemer is the highest authority in determining what His Word is and what it means. It is left to man only to rightly divide the Word of God.</p>
<p>But if Scripture is not the Word of God, it must first pass into our minds, filter through our preferred worldview, be contextualized to our modern age of science and literature, before reaching a final interpretation. This presents all sorts of problems. Science advances rapidly and changes often. What scientific theory is to be used and how are we to say it won't soon be proven false by new information? What literary theories can we use, and how do we determine if they are appropriate?</p>
<p>If Scripture is only a communication through which we hear God, then its ultimate authority lies not in God, but in our interpretation. This bears dangerous ramifications, for if you are the ultimate authority of what the Scripture means, what place does God have in communicating to you, and who am I to tell you that you have misinterpreted Scripture? Who am I to tell you that murder is a sin even though the Bible specifically states "Do not murder"?</p>
<p>These are two hills worth dying on for every believer, in every church, at all times. If God is not our ultimate authority and His Word is not the final word, then we are without hope and salvation in a lost world. It breaks my heart that this is even up for discussion, but we must press on as believers holding to our Great God and His Word.</p>
<p><em>Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!</em></p>

Fueron dos meses y medio de locura, arrebato, alegrías, tristezas, incertidumbres, descubrimientos, encontronazos, conquistas, derrotas y muchísimas sensaciones más. Fue una interesante y enriquecedora experiencia saber que personas ajenas, distantes y desconocidas se estremecieron con lo que escribí.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Si en algún momento le hice la vida un poquito más feliz a alguien, enhorabuena; si, por el contrario, removí espinas y heridas, lo siento, mi más sincero perdón. De cualquir manera, un abrazo, un abrazo desde donde nacen estas palabras que no dicen nada y al mismo tiempo lo dicen todo...</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Me marcho con mi música y mi verdad a otra parte, mi verdad que no dice nada pero al mismo tiempo lo esconde todo, como esta hoguera que no se apaga, como esta piedra que rodó rumbo al éxtasis y extravió la ruta de los abrazos soñados.</p>

<title><![CDATA[The Triune Godhead: The Trinity]]></title>

<p>I will start by saying that this is a topic all christian's who hold some form of orthodoxy hold. There is nothing new to say regarding this topic of God's Triune nature, however there is a lot of clearing up that there is to do. A lot of understanding needed in tackling the issue. God is indeed One, and is Father, Word and Holy Spirit. These Three are one. Modalists call them manifestation's of the One God. Trinitarian's call them the person's of the trinity, I will not talk about Unitarian's etc as there is much that has already been said on that issue. Simply put the doctrine is wrong. If you are reading this and hold to a unitarian belief, I hope that you will be patient with me and hear me out. </p>

<p>The simple belief of the Trinity was outlined in Scripture many years ago. Of course God has alway's known Himself and His own nature, however it was reaveled to the prophets. Though they themselve's did not seem to understand this truth,it was a mystery to them. It was revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ who being the Word of God in the flesh revealed God to us. The apostle's read the scripture's and being led by the Spirit truly understood now how God is and who He is. All believing Jewish people knew that God is One, but they did not know How God is one. It seem's that even christian's are stuck at this point. We know God is Three yet one. But we do not understand How He is Three yet one. Yet He has revealed it to us, Jesus frequently saying "I and the Father are One." Why is this? I'm not too sure, but I'm sure that its not something to fight over, for if we know that Jesus and the Father and the Spirit are one. We understand His oneness. We might not understand how He is One but we do understand that He is. That is what is important. </p>

<p>I would like to use medical term's to describe how God is one. I hope none of you feel any offense. I do this with the most respect for who our God is. Knowing that He is the almighty creator and everlasting God and there is no other God but He. I do this to try and show you how God is One. In doing so affirming the trinitarian view of God's Oneness and  Triune nature. Being Three in person and One in Being. I prefer to say this rather than say One in essence because essence doesn't show God as being One. It describes His oneness as if he were a fabric. The word being show's us that all three person's of the Trinity are undivisible in that they are intrinsically connected in who they are and are one in Spirit and mind. The can not be in conflict can not disagree. They are of one will.</p>

<p>There are many more verses I can use to substaniate the fact that Jesus The Messiah is divine and that He is God. Yet something that is never mentioned. How and why is Jesus God? How is the Son of God, God? For you see, when Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, the jews wanted to stone Him because they knew that in proclaiming to be the Son of The Almighty God who lives forever. He was making himself to be equal to God. They all knew that Adam is the son of God. Why? Because God made adam, difference is Adam was a formed creature, made by God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). In fact in Job and Genesis even the angels are called the sons of God. However being the Only Begotten Son of The Most High is different, because He is saying that He and God are One and that he came forth from The Father. In the same way that Seth and Adam were one. For it is written that Adam begot himself a son in His own image. Thus when it was written that Adam was made in the image of God, it is very different than when He begot Seth in his image. For Adam was made in God's image. And we know that that image is The Word of God who has always been, even from the beginning. Thus Adam and The Only Begotten of the Father are different. Because it was through The Word of God (The Son of God) that Adam was made. As we know nothing was made except through the Son. Thus the Son was Creator with God the Father and The Spirit. Whereas Adam was a creation, with a beginning. The Word is from everlasting. As it is written of The Son of God in Micah 5 verse 2 "<span style="color:#000080;">But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.</span>" </p>
<p>So the question now is How can The Son be the first born of all creation and yet be God at the same time. Because by being the first born, he has to be created? Well, yes. Many people deny this, because they think it stop's Him from being divine, but that is not so. For Jesus Himself  according to John 8:42 says this "J<span style="color:#000080;">esus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me." </span>Note that we are told that He is from everlasting past and was with the Father in the beginning (before any thing was created). Yet he said he proceeded forth from the Father. Here Jesus is telling us how He came to exist in His own body, He could have said I stood in the presence of the Father and was sent by Him which would have made sense also, especially because we know that He was with God and has been intereving in Yisra'el's affairs for many times we see that an Angel called "The Angel of YHWH." Is described as being God himself and we know that to be The Son as no one has ever seen the Father who sit's on His throne. But He says He proceeded forth, why? because He is letting us know that He is in the Father, has Alway's been in the Father and came forth from the Father and the Father is in Him. As He says</p>

<p><span style="color:#000080;">or as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.</span></p>
<p>He let's us know that it was the Father's will that He have life in Himself. Which He did before He became flesh, however when He became flesh he also took on the role of The Son of Man. The promised redeemer. </p>
<p>Now, in being the Son of Man he is the visible image of The invisible God. He was the image of God even before He became flesh, he even revealed Himself at different times to different people. Abraham, Hagar, Joshua, Moses, Samson's parents etc. But now as flesh, He is The visible image that has been seen and known by His people and shall come again and all shall see Him. The fact that He came forth from God (The Father) and is in the Father show's us that He is One with The Father and His origins are from everlasting just as the Father is from everlasting, the fact that he proceeded forth tells us that he was begotten of the Father and is the only person who the Father begot, all others were created through Him. Also The Father is in Him and The Spirit of the Father (The Holy Spirit)  is also in Him (He has Life in Himself) so He is identical to Him (The Father). And because He is One with The Father because The Spirit of the Father is in Him and the Father is in Him also, and He is in The Father also as The Spirit of the Father also is in the Father being the Spirit of God. And we know from Jesus that He who has the Son has the Father also, and that when the Spirit comes to live in us, The Father and The Son make their home in us also. This tells us that the Father and The Son are in The Holy Spirit also. As such we see that God is One. </p>

<p>I know I've being going in circle's describing this topic. It seems the only way to discuss it as it is very difficult to grasp. Forgive me for that. We see because The Father, Word and Spirit are One many like the modalists have described this nature as being "manifestations." This leads to problems because of the weakness of that description. Because to simply call Jesus a manifestation is really not ideal, because He is a person as The Father and Spirit are. Jesus referred to the Spirit as one refers to a person and the Father did the same in regard to Jesus when the great voice was heard from the Heaven's at His baptism and anointing by The Holy Spirit in the presence of John the Immerser. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Also as I have mentioned when talking about where He came from Jesus could have said He came from the presence of God. Because he litterally did come from Heaven. Yet he said proceeded forth from the Father.And not only that But he explains how He came forth. He tells us that the father granted Him life in Himself just as He has life in Himself and we know this Life to be The Spirit of God, which is The Spirit of Christ. The Holy Spirit who has given our spirit's life also. I've explained why He used that wording. Gabriel when describing where he came from to Zechariah said something else</p>
<p>Luke 1:18-19</p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;">"And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;"> </span><span class="sup"><span style="color:#000080;">19</span></span><span style="color:#000080;">And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings."</span></p>
<p>Notice, Gabriel says He was sent to Zechariah but not that he proceeded forth from The Father as Jesus said. This is a great difference. Because Gabriel is telling Zechariah where he has come from, while Jesus told us His origins.</p>
<p>The Father and The Son are One. And Jesus is the exact image of The Father and is visible because He became flesh and we know that He has once again received the Glory which He had before He became flesh. Whilst Gabriel was made, through the Word just like Adam and all other created things in the creation. But The Word is different having came forth from God and being in God from everlasting past and being God even from Everlasting to Everlasting. And the Father being in Him. We should notice that the Spirit of God is also called the Spirit of Christ for this very reason. The Father, Word and Spirit are one. And each is a person, distinct from the other yet One in being, because God is One. Inseparable, yet distinct. One in Mind, Spirit and will, yet at the same time able to make individual decision's yet always seeking to do the other's will. The Son does the will of the Father, The Spirit seeks to Glorify the Son in so doing bringing Glory to the Father. They are one in all they do. As John says in 1 John 5:8</p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;">"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." </span></p>
<p>The idea of the trinity lets us see God from the outside, that is we understand His nature being three in One by understanding that He is Triune. However because it doesn't really explain how he is one very well. Simply telling us the He is three in person and one in essence. I've tried my best to explain how He is One. The Father being in the Son, The Son being in The Father and having come forth from the Father has made Him known to us by becoming flesh and saving us by the blood he shed to reconcile us back to God and give us Life, the Life that is in Him. That life, being everlasting Life, given to us through The Spirit of God who is the Spirit of Christ also. YHWH ELOHIM. Three in person, One in Being. Father having life in Himself and granting the Son to have life in Himself also, and giving us life through Him who He sent into the world. Namely Jesus The Messiah, The Word of God.</p>
<p>The second part of this would have to be, The nature of The Messiah. How He is both divine and man at the same time. Well, the question has always been how can these two natures co-exist in one person. I think, the issue here has to do with understanding the nature of man first, so we can understand how The Eternal Word could become flesh and keep His Divinity, Holiness and nature. This will also help us understand the virgin birth and dispel false doctrine's like the immaculate birth (the doctrine that hold's that Mary was free from original sin). I have a problem with the idea of original sin also. But I'll talk about that too, because it helps us understand the virgin birth also.</p>
<p>First Lets look at how the Bible describes the flesh (our earthly bodies). </p>

<p>Ok, so we can clearly see that scripturally the flesh is looked at as a tent or tabernacle. A clear expression of this being how Jesus talked about His Body being a Temple. And How Paul also talks of our bodies being temples of God, because God dwells within us as we have confessed Christ as Lord and have been made to be children of God by the will of God and not of men. So the question then becomes how can God dwell in us being sinful human beings. The same could be asked in regards to how God could dwell in a tabernacle made of earthly cloth's and animal skins. It had to be sanctified to God. And we have been cleansed and sanctified unto God by the blood of Christ which is more excellent than that of bulls, ram's or goats. We are partakers of a New and Everlasting Covenant with God mediated through Christ in whom the fullness dwells. (For we know that He is the image of God as the fulness of God dwells in Him as it does in the Father who is The True and Everlasting God and His Son who is his likeness and image has given us His Life, The Holy Spirit in whom the Father and Son are in also, as such the fulness of God dwells in us through The Spirit as Ephesians 3 tells us). Now, within us we know that we have soul's and that the body is the tent of this same soul. And within the Soul our spirits live, and it because of our spirits that we are called living souls. Now we know that we were spiritually dead, and we have received Life because The Holy Spirit has quickened our spirit's and has come to live within us, as such Christ lives in us. In fact is it not we that live (being dead in sins, we were crucified with Christ on the cross). But because we have been reconciled to God through the blood of Christ, we have also been raised with Him, and He has come to live in us, because His Spirit lives in us, giving life. So as Paul said "it is not I that live, but Christ who lives in me."</p>
<p>Now, because we are born in sin, being one with Adam in nature and coming from him. As it written Adam begot a son in his own image. Adam being sinful could only reproduce sinful children. Corrupt plants ony give forth corrupt offspring. For we have not sinned in the same way as Adam we can not have original sin, rather we are sinful by nature because of the corruption brought about by His sin. Thus sin came into the world by one man. Now, if thats the case how could Christ be Holy and without sin, for if he was of Adam He would be sinful too. Well this is where the virgin comes in. </p>

<p>So we see that unlike other children, Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, in fact Gabriel makes a point to say that The Holy thing that shall be born.....Why? Because He would lack the sinful nature passed through Adam as He was conceived of The Holy Spirit. The Last Adam, was Holy by nature. This totally destroys the need for the doctrine of an immaculate birth for Mary because its shown to us that the reason His flesh was Holy by nature (unblemished) is because of how he was conceived by The Holy Spirit. If Mary needed to be born through immaculate birth, then her parent's would need to be born in the same way, in fact one would have to say all her ancestor's would have to born in the same way all the way till Seth, which is silly, because the why would be need a savior to save us from sin, that would mean we would never sin, being free from its bondage. Its a heresy to say the least. Only Jesus was born Holy, free from all blemish from sin. Because only he was conceived of The Holy Spirit. As such He was free from the bondage of sin, from the very beginning. He didn't need saving, we did. He couldn't sin. It was not in His fleshly nature (though weak like us). Not only that but because He was God, it is against the very nature of God to sin. So in every way He was Holy. </p>

<p>What about His nature? Man and God. Well, as we know the body is a tabernacle, a tent. As such. He was still God and is God, except in a human tent. And being Holy His Tent was blemish-less, not in need of cleansing like ours. He being the Word now lived in a tent, and this tent has been glorified and He has the Glory He had before becoming flesh. As such He though being in one place at one moment in His Body, could know the thoughts of many as He is He who searches hearts and mind's. And He could know what a person in another place was doing without physically seeing Him with the eyes of His flesh. How? He is One with The Holy Spirit who is every where, He is One with The Father whose will He did. it is because of this that we can say that Mary was not the mother of god. But the mother of The Lord, the mother of The Son of Man, who is God. Why? Because His flesh is not God. God is the person who dwells in the tabernacle, The person within. Just like our bodies are not us. We are the souls within our bodies. The inner man is who we really are, the body is a tent. To call the flesh god, would be idolatry, it would be worshiping the form and not the person within. Every time someone worshiped Jesus they worshiped who He is, the person they knew Him to be, not His flesh but the person within, God. And yes, the body and the soul are one, yet separate because of the reasons we have mentioned. To worship the tent is like worshipping the Temple, or the tabernacle. Who Jesus is is God, and He has always been God, being One with the Father and being in the Father and coming forth from Him. We have to understand this, The Word put on flesh, becoming a man, but not discarding His Divinity. As Who he is is God, he can't stop being who and what He is, forever He is God. As He said "before Abraham I AM." He is the Everlasting Word and The Son of The Living God.</p>
<p>Its is for this reason that it is written in Malachi 3:1-5</p>

<div>God is talking about two persons here. Himself and a prophet. The messenger preparing the way before him is John the immerser who came as Isaiah also prophesied. And the messenger of the Covenant is God himself, The Word of God who became flesh. Jesus The Messiah. So we see that this is how Jesus became flesh, put on an earthly tent and lived amongst us, and now sits at His Father's right hand and will return at the time the Father has decided. Being a man in no way alters Jesus' divinity. I fact He revealed who He is, through becoming a man, through showing that He is The Son of God by the resurrection. </div>
<div>This has been a long post. I hope I haven't bored you too much. Do not take what I have said dogmatically. We all understand God in different way's. However the Truth is absolute and not relative so the I think the Truth's which can be communicated in different ways should all be understood in the Light of Scriptures. Whether you say God is three in person and one in essence, or One in Being and three in person. We are essentially saying the same thing. Three in Person and One in Being, understanding the Trinity (the Godhead) is understanding who and how God is. In believing in The Messiah we are believing in The Father who sent Him, believing that they are One. People can know that God is three and yet one. Understanding it however is something else.
