Sunteti masculi? Inseamna ca trebuie sa aveti ceva ce femeile nu au, adica stiti voi ce. Asta e realitatea si trebuie sa o acceptam asa cum e. Probabil ca stiti vorba aia "sa nu aveti incredere in femei si-n franele de Dacie". Eh, va spun ca nu e chiar asa, insa fiecare cu parerea lui. Tot ce trebuie sa faci e sa iubesti. Asta e sfatul meu. Restul vine de la sine.

When one is young, one thinks often about the meaning of her life, and this is how Anilitak grew pensive this night, as on many nights before. She ran her hands along the contours of her snout, along the edges of her sharp teeth, along the smooth pink skin of her face. What did it mean? She knew that she should be thankful. She had everything a person could ask for: a kind mother and father, a pleasant house, a roof above her head, not many hardships and many material blessing. She wept that night. It was not the first night the fact of her curse had brought tears to her eyes, but it was the last night such tears came to her in her own bed. For an idea had sprouted slowly night by night, an idea that in the day hid itself behind the solid plans and concerns that engaged her under the sun. But when the sun slept and the moon shone upon her through her window, the idea spread its face again toward that pale light, and week by week it grew. Surely, she decided, some fiend had stolen her face when she was a child. Perhaps a demon had visited her in her mother’s womb. Her parents did not talk of it. Zatem tak, mamy już skończone kilka plansz w trybie Story, poskakaliśmy po poziomach obcych ludzi, więc chciałoby się wziąć młotek z piłą w swoje ręce i poskładać własny levelik. I tu zaczynają się schody :D

Ok, wybieramy jeden z kraterów na Księżycu, najlepiej najmniejszy coby na malutkim terenie zbudować coś, dokładnie tak, maleńkiego. Pierwszy szok, to wielkość "małego" krateru. Jest ogromny teren do wykorzystania. Drugi (po wybraniu jednego z dostępnych tematów planszy) to wypasione budowle położone już na starcie. W tym momencie każdy nabiera jeszcze większej ochoty do zrobienia najlepszego poziomu we wszechświecie. Ale zanim do tego przejdzie musi obejrzeć masę tutoriali. Bardzo fajnych tutoriali, warto dodać.

Zaczynamy od operowania podstawowymi kształtami i materiałami. Po zaliczeniu wprowadzeń możemy tworzyć od kwadratów i kół do rombów i innych owali z drewna, gąbki, kamienia, metalu, "antymaterii", szkła i kilku innych tworzyw. Wszystko jest dziecinnie proste - lewym analogiem wybieramy gdzie chcemy to coś mieć, prawym regulujemy wielkość (góra, dół) oraz obracamy (lewo, prawo). Do tego dochodzą jeszcze eRki i eLki przemieszczające przedmiot na trzech planach oraz ustawiające jego grubość. Kreślić możemy sam kształt, np. kwadrat, po naciśnięciu X lub trzymając przycisk można to to rozmazać i rozciągnąć jak rysując ołówkiem w Paint'cie. Intuicyjne i fajne. Po wyrysowaniu tego co nas interesuje (przyjmijmy, że to dom) rzecz zawieszona jest w przestrzeni, jeśli ją tak rysowaliśmy, dopóki nie wyłączymy menu Popit (po naciśnieciu kwadratu). Kiedy mamy już ten dom i chcemy zmienić coś w jego kształcie wystarczy wybrać odpowiednią opcję i można edytować rogi, przecinać go, wydłużać. Dodając okna nie musimy najpierw robić w ścianie dziury, wystarczy je narysować, a później nałożyć w odpowiednim miejscu na dom i przytrzymać iks, wtedy zostanie ono przylutowane do budowli i już nie spadnie. By je zdjąć zaznaczamy okno kursorem, naciskamy X, a później trójkąt, który je odczepi. W taki sam sposób można zamontować dach.

Jeśli mamy nasz dom w głębi ekranu możemy na pierwszym planie zbudować płotek - wystarczy nakreślić jedną sztachetę i użyć narzędzia, które zapisze ją jako jeden z naszych autorskich kształtów w menu. Wtedy każdą następną mamy pod ręką, nie trzeba jej tworzyć od nowa. Gotowe sztachety można połączyć mniejszymi kawałkami drewna, a całość postawić w planie bliższym, by dało się przejść między nim, a domem.

Ok, dom prawie cały, to może by tak teraz działający komin. Bierzemy kamień lub inny pasujący materiał, nakreślamy prostokąt i przyczepiamy do dachu. A co zrobić by w nim napalić? Nic prostszego - wystarczy przyczepić do niego włącznik, który będzie materializował przy nim "dym", czyli w tym przypadku małe kuleczki z latającej gąbki. Przy tym można ustawić ile ich ma się pojawiać, w jakich odstępach czasu, kiedy mają znikać oraz ile może ich być na ekranie na raz. To jest bardziej efektowna opcja. Wyglądająca trochę mniej fajnie, ale szybsza w obsłudze polega na zrobieniu nad kominem jakiegoś kształtu z czegokolwiek, np. drewna, a później przerobieniu tego na gaz, co prawda trujący, ale sackboy nie musi go tak wysoko dotykać. Wszystko ograniczy się do kilku naciśnięć guzika na padzie.

Dom z oknami i drzwiami jest, dach jest, dymiący komin też, to samo płot.  W takim razie wypadałoby teraz dodać mieszkańców. Zaczniemy od psa. By wykonać stworzonko musimy najpierw je stworzyć (wiem, odkrywcze) - czyli znów bierzemy któryś z materiałów i rysujemy odpowiednio głowę, tułów oraz nogi (bądź wybieramy gotowy model). Części ciała łączymy mechanicznymi tłokami  i dodajemy mózg. Mózg zwierzęcia jest częścią nadającą mu życia. Po pierwsze mamy dwa typy, normalny oraz osłonięty - ten pierwszy da się zepsuć, drugiego nie. Wybieramy więc niezniszczalny. Następnie mamy do wyboru zachowanie psiaka: agresywne (będzie nas gonił), strachliwe (pies zacznie uciekać) bądź kompletnie nas ignorujące. Jeśli chcemy psa strażnika ustawiamy to pierwsze i, jeśli zrobiliśmy mechaniczny pysk z kłąpiącą szczęką, możemy w nią wcisnąć kolce, odpowiednio je zmniejszając. Do tego naklejamy psu oczy oraz głośnik, by wydawał z siebie odgłos szczekania (głośnik można ustawić na niewidoczny jeśli chcemy). Właściciela oraz przeciwników robi się praktycznie tak samo. Choć w naszym przypadku ten pierwszy niech stoi w bezruchu, niepotrzebny mu zatem mózg. Do tego zamiast głośnika przyklejamy mu usta, wybieramy jaki dźwięk ma wydawać podczas mówienia i wpisujemy w dymek kwestię jaką ma do nas mówić, np. swojskie "Dzień dobry!". Miły właściciel.

Przy okazji można zająć się jeszcze pierdołami, czyli zrobić jakieś kwiatki (i właścicielke "podlewającą" je), zawiesić pod sufitem na sznurkach chmury i słońce, ustawić słoneczną pogodę.

Ale możemy też zmienić ten sielski pejzaż na dom z piekła rodem. Robimy więc noc, mgłę, na księżyc przyklejamy czerwone naklejki i robimy mu usta pełne okropnych zębów, zaznaczamy dach domu i podpalamy go, płot podpinamy do prądu, robimy by oprócz kłów pies wydzielał z pyska trujący gaz i jego pole aktywacji ustawiamy na największe, by leciał do nas z dużej odległości.  Przy okazji nic nie stoi na przeszkodzie by poprzyklejać gdzieś głośniki wydające z siebie straszliwe krzyki. Strach się bać.

Na tak przygotowanym poziome musimy jeszcze poukładać banieczki-znajdźki oraz metę. Wypadałoby także ułożyć fajnie punkt startu i checkpointy oraz bańki z nagrodami dla graczy (można w nie wsadzić wszystko, od naklejek, przez ubrania, po dom, który zbudowaliśmy) i prezenty po ukończeniu planszy. A jeśli chcemy by mieli trochę więcej adrenalinki wystarczy ustawić na początku linię startu wyścigu i nastawić limit czasu.

Taką planszę, z chwytliwą nazwą i fajnym krótkim opisem, wystawiamy na serwery i czekamy na oceny graczy. W międzyczasie przechodząc levele innych i kopiując je do swojego inwentarza by móc je edytować samemu.

Proste, prawda? No właśnie. Ale LBP pozwala na wiele, wieeeeeeeeeeeele więcej. I niestety przez to edytor poziomów po prostu mnie przerasta, mimo jakiegoś tam pomysłu na level kompletnie nie mogę do niego podejść z ogromu możliwości. Ale jeśli tylko ktoś ma wystarczająco dużo zacięcia i wyobraźni może zrobić niezłe cuda.

Looking that number up on PSA's website takes me to a 1939 Play Ball Frenchy Bordagaray #75 graded a 7.  Thats just a little different than a 1952 Bowman Berra MINT 9.  This person is totally trying to scam people and hoping for somebody to place a bid for $10,000.00.  The serial number doesn't even match up.  What an idiot.

UPDATE:

I e-mailed them back letting them know the serial number was wrong.  They said sorry and gave me this number: 31044872

Checking the PSA database its a Dwyane Wade 2003 Topps Pristine basketball card graded a MINT 9.

En ese entonces, ser estudiante era ser considerado peligroso por el gobierno.
Los grupos paramilitares (llamados halcones) irrumpen en todos los departamentos buscando gente que haya participado en el mitín, o que estén ocultando a los estudiantes.
La película fue realizada en 1989 y escrita por un gran guionista mexicano, de nombre Xavier Robles.

“E gunoi si e curve…. Dar si alea vrea bani”

Prea multe femei in episodul asta. Patru femei, un Clark si jumatate de Jimmy ca a fost beat o buna parte. Ah multe femei, si majoritatea dintre ele duse cu pluta. Chloe se amageste ca e ok sa acceseze memoria computerului malefic. Lois se amageste si ea dar din alt punct de vedere. Maxima isi cauta iubirea in toate locurile nepotrivite, iar Tess isi ruleaza in continuare mustacioara metaforica de bad guy intre degetele. In mijlocul lor… Clark.

Cea mai mare problema am avut-o cu tipa care a jucat-o pe Maxima. Cam.. bleah. Nu zic ca nu e frumusica dar nimic din infatisarea sau purtarea ei nu mi-a inspirat ideea de regina razboinica. Ah nu se intelege ca ma asteptam la ceva de genul asta…

Dar nici o slabanoaga palida care cred ca daca isi da cu mult gloss nu observ ca in definitiv Erica Durance are un chip si un corp mai fain ca ea. Si nici nu mai vorbesc de personalitatea ei. Sau mai bine spus lipsa unei personalitati. Mi-a adus aminte mai mult de Kara din sezonul 4. Cam aeriana asa… Daca reusesti sa o faci pe Tess interesanta, asta chiar e o implinire.

In plus au introdus ideea asta ca omoara barbati sarutandu-i, care nu are nici un sens decat ca voiau un body count in serial, ceva care sa-l faca pe Clark sa actioneze. Nu au bugetul probabil sa o arate pe Maxima cum distruge jumatate de oras in cautarea Kriptonianului, in spiritul aparitiilor ei de pana acum din comics si desene animate. Pe de alta parte au vrut si sa-i puna in pericol viata lui Jimmy.

Ah, Jimmy. Buzele nepotrivite la locul nepotrivit. Si cat de mult a putut sa ma enerveze ca lua sfaturi de idiotul ala de barman. “Fa-o sa creada ca nu e singura vulpe din padure” Domnule barman, din partea intregului sex feminin, iti urez un calduros: “Du-te dracu!”

Faptul ca Maxima ajunge sa-l sarute (pe Jimmy, nu pe barman) mi se pare tras de par si fortat. Scenaristii probabil ca vor ca Chloe si Jimmy sa ajunga noii Lana si Clark de pana acum si sa fie cat mai multa melodrama in viata lor. Maxima zice ca vrea un barbat demn sa fie regele ei si cu toate acesta il alege pe cel mai dorky tip din bar. Si nu pot sa cred ca era singurul fara gagica. Nevermind ca Jimmy nu ar fi trebuit sa fie in acel bar pentru ca

a) a condus 2-3 ore cu masina ca sa bea un paharel, nu mai sunt baruri in Smallville sau ce

si

b) pare a fi un club fancy si ultima data cand am verificat, Jimmy lucra in subsolul de la Daily Planet. Dintre toate cluburile din lume s-a gasit sa mearga tocmai in ala.

Cred ca multi sunt de parere ca Tom Welling are cel mai tare job din lume si aici ne intoarcem la ideea ca Clark deocamdata are o gramada de femei care saliveaza dupa el si apropo de saliva… Se tavaleste nitel cu Maxima pana ii gaseste… dum dum dum dum. Lois! Nu zic nu, frumoasa scena. Si mi-a placut la nebunie criza de nervi care i-a facut-o Lois dar mai ales cand il impungea cu degetul acuzator! Go Lois! Nu cred ca a simtit ceva dar gestul conteaza.

Repet, se vede ca producatorii Smallville nu au bani sa dea pe scene complicate de lupte cu superputeri pentru ca la final ma asteptam si eu la ceva lovituri intre Maxima si Clark. Ok, mai e si adevarul asta ca totusi Clark e gentleman si nu poate sa dea in fete, dar sfarsitul mi s-a parut la fel de mediocru ca si intreaga prestatie a Maximei. N-a facut decat sa-i activeze bratara si sa o deporteze naibii inapoi pe I-have-a-rack sau cum s-o numi planeta ei. Nu i-a facut o faza asemanatoare si lui Zod?

Mi se pare interesant ca in loc sa-l foloseasca pe Davis pentru a provoca probleme in relatia dintre Jimmy si Chloe, scenaristii au apelat la mai vechea dragoste a lui Chloe pentru Clark. Interesant sau ingrijorator ca mi se pare ca oricum in directia aia se indreapta. Zic din nou in caz ca nu a fost clar. Mi s-a urat de atatea melodrame ieftine. Sa ne concentram pe Lois si Clark ca doar sunt intr-o etapa mai fun a relatiei si sper sa ramana acolo, indiferent daca Lois a absorbit tot ce i-a spus Maxima de legatura “puternica” dintre ea si Clark. Vreau ca relatia dintre ei doi sa evolueze cat mai natural. Mai intai nu se suporta, dup-aia se iubesc. Simplu.

Tess si Chloe impreuna ar fi ceva, dar Chloe a dat cea mai tare replica a episodului cand i-a zis lui Tess ca nu o sperie cu una cu doua si mai pe intelesul nostru, “she ain’t no Lex”. Un episod mediocru, putin mai bun decat Toxic... dar numai pentru Lois si Clark si revelatia ca avem un nou jucator. Sa curga sugestiile cine ar putea fi tipul sau tipa asta X. Cea mai interesanta teorie pe care am auzit-o pana acum este ca e chiar Chloe dar nu stie ce face ca Brainiac a inceput sa o controleze.

Cominciamo con qualcosa di soft: Bonekickers, miniserie della BBC, che tanti bei prodotti ha sfornato, ma che questa volta ha fatto proprio un clamoroso flop. La storia, che ci vogliono spacciare per interessante e appassionante, è quella di un gruppo di archeologi, ognuno che ricalca un classico clichè, che a furia di scavare nel passato innescano una serie di eventi nel presente. La sensazione più definibile che mi ha dato è stata: sonno. Non sono andato oltre il primo episodio (una chance gliel'ho voluta dare).

Poi di recente gli occhi mi sono caduti sulla messa in video di uno dei romanzi di Thomas Hardy, Tess of the Ubervilles. Per la trama vi rimando all'articolo su wikipedia, che è sicuramente più esauriente. Quello che mi domando, visto che hanno cominciato coi romanzi di Hardy, è quando faranno Jude The Obscure, romanzo che più improbabile non si può, e di cui penso sia il caso di riportare almeno un breve estratto della trama, per far capire meglio con cosa abbiamo a che fare:

Il precoce primogenito Little Father Time, cosciente dei problemi in casa, decide di uccidere i due figli di Sue strangolandoli con una corda da pacchi e di suicidarsi impiccandosi con una gruccia. Il ragazzo lasciò un biglietto per i genitori con scritto "Fatto perché siamo tropi" (errore voluto dall'autore "Done because we are too menny")

E poi, per finire, la chicca delle chicche… Non so quanti si ricorderanno, un bel po' di anni indietro, che dall'america ci arrivò *momento di suspance* Beverly Hills, telefilm giovanilistico che "si portava" ai tempi della scuola, e penso abbia prodotto anche qualche spin off. Pensavamo di essercene liberati, e invece fresco fresco dagli USA ci arriva "90210", il sequel! So per certo che qualcuno lo voleva anche vedere (non so con quale stomaco).

Once upon other times, there was a wicked witch, a haunted forest, a boastful dragon, a piper, a village upon a hill, a village in the valley, a fairy godmother, a large shoe, a golden egg…and many other fantastic and wonderful things, all of which have their own stories, which you can read in other places. This story is not about these things.

This story is about a young lady you probably have not heard of. Her name is not as pleasing as you might wish, but this is because you have not heard it spoken in your bedrooms when you were little. Her name is Anilitak Tan Sulayor. But if you find this name a distraction, or if you somehow mix up the letters when you try to put it down on paper, you need not worry, for Anilitak has another name, which you may find more convenient.

You see, Anilitak Tan Sulayor, age 16, is an extraordinary young lady. She is slender, like the growing sapling, and her voice is musical, like the birds that sit in the trees about her house. Her disposition is often cheerful, like a spring morning and seldom cloudy, like a day in late November. Still, despite these advantages, she has no suitors. This may not be a problem where you live, but it is an ill omen where Anilitak lives, to be 16 and to catch the eye of no man.

It is true—her parents tried to comfort her, as did her friends and all those in the village who loved her. But they knew the reason that no strapping young man brought her flowers, and she knew it also. Because, for all the many advantages with which she was endowed, she possessed one small disadvantage, what one might call a flaw, or even, if one were quite truthful, a curse.

Anilitak had been born with the face of a pig, and the people called her Snort.

Once known as the Serpent and Bikini Killer, Charles Sobhraj acquired a new moniker on Wednesday: newly-wed, tying the knot Nepali-style with his 20-year-old Nepali fiancée Nihita Biswas.

On Wednesday, Nepal celebrated Bada Dashami, the 10th day of its biggest Hindu festival Dashain, traditionally regarded as an auspicious day for weddings. While pairs headed for temples to say "I do", for 64-year-old Sobhraj, it was a more somber ceremony in Kathmandu's Central Jail where he has been serving a life sentence for murder.

Who is Charles Shobraj?

Hatchand Bhaonani Gurumukh Charles Sobhraj (born April 6, 1944 in Saigon, Vietnam) is a French serial killer of Indian and Vietnamese origin, who preyed on Western tourists throughout Southeast Asia during the 1970s. Nicknamed "the Serpent" and "the Bikini killer" for his skills at deception and evasion, he allegedly committed at least 12 murders and was jailed in India from 1976 to 1997, but managed to live a life of leisure in prison. He retired as a celebrity in Paris, then unexpectedly returned to Nepal, where he was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment on August 12, 2004.

While Sobhraj is widely believed to be a psychopath—he has a manipulative personality and is incapable of remorse—his motives for killing differed from those of most serial killers. Sobhraj was not driven to murder by deep-seated, violent impulses, but rather for personal gain, as a means among many to sustain his lifestyle of adventure. That lifestyle, as well as his cunning and cultured personality, made him a celebrity long before his release from prison. Sobhraj immensely enjoyed the attention, charging large amounts of money for interviews and film rights; his life has already been the object of four books and three documentaries. This search for attention and overconfidence in his own intelligence are named as causes of his unexpected return to one of the few places on Earth where authorities were still willing and able to arrest him, and his subsequent downfall.

A Brief Crime History

Sobhraj financed his lifestyle by posing as a mysterious drug dealer to impress tourists and defrauding them when they let their guard down. In Thailand, he met Marie-Andrée Leclerc from Lévis, Quebec, one of many tourists looking for adventure in the East. Subjugated by Sobhraj's personality, Leclerc quickly became his most devoted follower, turning a blind eye to his crimes and his philandering with local women.

Sobhraj started gathering followers by helping them out of difficult situations, indebting them to him while he actually was the very cause of their misery. In one case, he helped two former French policemen, named Yannick and Jacques, to recover their passports that he himself had stolen; in another, he provided shelter and comfort to another Frenchman named Dominique Rennelleau, whose apparent dysentery illness was actually the results of poisoning by Sobhraj. He was also joined by a young Indian named Ajay Chowdhury, a fellow criminal who became his lieutenant. Sobhraj wanted to start a criminal "family" of sorts, in the style of Charles Manson's.

It was then that Sobhraj and Chowdhury committed their first (known) murders in 1975. Most of the victims had spent some time with the "clan" before their deaths and were, according to some investigators, potential recruits who had threatened to expose Sobhraj. The first victim was a young woman from Seattle, Teresa Knowlton, who was found burned like many of Sobhraj's other victims. Soon thereafter, a young American Jennie Bollivar, was found drowned in a tidal pool in the Gulf of Thailand, wearing a flowered bikini. It was only months later that the autopsy and forensic evidence revealed the drowning to be murder.

The next victim was a young, nomadic Sephardic Jew named Vitali Hakim, whose burned body was found on the road to the Pattaya resort where Sobhraj and his clan were staying.

Dutch students Henk Bintanja, 29, and his fiancée Cornelia Hemker, 25, were invited to Thailand after meeting Sobhraj in Hong Kong. Just as he had done to Dominique, Sobhraj poisoned them, and then nurtured them back to health to gain their obedience. As they recovered, Sobhraj was visited by his previous victim Hakim's French girlfriend, Charmayne Carrou, coming to investigate her boyfriend's disappearance. Fearing exposure, Sobhraj and Chowdhury quickly hustled the couple out; their bodies were found strangled and burned on December 16, 1975. Soon after, Carrou was found drowned in circumstances similar to Jennie's, and wearing a similar-styled swimsuit. Although the murders of both women were not connected by investigations at the time, they would later earn Sobhraj the nickname of "the bikini killer."

On December 18, the day the bodies of Bintanja and Hemker were identified, Sobhraj and Leclerc entered Nepal using the couple's passports. There they met and, on December 21-22, murdered Canadian Laurent Ormond Carrière, 26 and Californian Connie Bronzich, 29. (The two victims were incorrectly identified in some sources as Laddie DuParr and Annabella Tremont.) Sobhraj and Leclerc then returned to Thailand, once again using their latest victims' passport before their bodies could be identified.

Upon his return to Thailand, Sobhraj discovered that his three French companions had started to suspect him, found documents belonging to the murder victims, and fled to Paris after notifying local authorities.

Sobhraj then went to Calcutta, where he murdered Israeli scholar Avoni Jacob for his passport, and used it to move to Singapore with Leclerc and Chowdhury, then to India and - rather boldly - back to Bangkok in March 1976. There they were interrogated by Thai policemen in connection with the murders, but easily let off the hook because authorities feared that the negative publicity accompanying a murder trial would harm the country's tourist trade.

Not so easily silenced, however, was Dutch embassy diplomat Herman Knippenberg, who was investigating the murder of the two Dutch backpackers, and suspected Sobhraj even though he did not know his real name. Knippenberg started to build a case against him, partly with the help of Sobhraj's neighbour. Given police permission to conduct his own search of Sobhraj's apartment (a full month after the suspect had left the country), Knippenberg found a great deal of evidence, such as victims' documents and poison-laced medicines. He would from then on accumulate evidence against Sobhraj for decades, despite the lack of cooperation by law enforcement.

The trio's next stop was in Malaysia, where Chowdhury was sent on a gem-stealing errand, and disappeared after giving the jewels to Sobhraj. No trace of him was ever found, and it is widely believed that Sobhraj murdered his former accomplice before leaving with Leclerc to sell the jewels in Geneva.

Soon back in Asia, Sobhraj started rebuilding his clan, starting in Bombay with two lost Western women named Barbara Sheryl Smith and Mary Ellen Eather. His next victim was Frenchman Jean-Luc Solomon, who succumbed to the poison intended to incapacitate him during a robbery.

In July 1976 in New Delhi, Sobhraj and the three women tricked a tour group of post-graduate French students into accepting them as guides. He then drugged them with pills which he pretended were anti-dysentery medicine. However, when the drugs started acting too quickly and the students started dropping unconscious where they stood, three of them quickly realized what was happening and overcame Sobhraj, leading to his capture by police. During interrogation, Barbara and Mary Ellen quickly cracked and confessed everything. Sobhraj was charged with the murder of Solomon, and all four were sent to Tihar prison outside New Delhi while awaiting formal trial.

Already been covered in TV Movie "Shadow Of Cobra" , his story is being retold in an upcoming "Charles and I", where his character is being played by none other than Jackie Shroff himself. Who says he (CS) wasted his life. All he did was for fame and money and that's what he gets. Alas its true "Behind every success is a crime".

În interiorul acestui spaţiu comercial, simbol al globalizării şi al societaţii plate în care ne trăim umilele vieţi, se înfiripa o poveste de dragoste care avea să fie povestită nepoţilor. Leonard Whitting şi Olivia Hussey, Humphrey Bogart şi Ingrid Bergman, Clark Gable şi Vivien Leigh, acestea sunt poveşti frumoase, merită un Oscar, dar doar atât. Dragostea adevărată se iveşte într-un McDonald's infect, stând la o masă cu o falsă prietenă, plângându-ţi de milă. Pentru Flory, care venea dintr-o lume unde un tricou Emporio Armani original înseamnă aur şi unde a te afişa cu ochelari de soare Gucci falşi reprezintă o faptă abominabilă, un status de dragoste are o semnificaţie atăt de profundă încât simplele cuvinte ale unui narator nu o pot descrie.

- Ştii? Te iubesc atât dă mult, dar nu ştiu nimic despre tine. Aş vrea să-mi spui câte ceva despre viaţa ta.

- Şi i-a mai prins gaborii? Cine era ăia doi de i-au dat bastârca în cap?

- Erea doi pretenari de-a mei. I-a prins poliţia în Galaţi. Cheltuiseră toţ' banii pe curve şi boutură. Şi acuma tot la bulău sunt. Mai au 10 de ani de făcut.

- Şi dupe ce taf'tu' a dat colţu', tu ce ai mai făcut?

- Aveam paişpe când a murit babacu'. M-am lăsat dă şcoală. Eream distrus, demolat, terminat, devastat. Am plecat în Italea cu doi tovar'şi de-a lu' bătrânu'. Am muncit cu ei. La cerşit la început, dupe aia la furat. Şi anu' trecut m-am întors în ţară. Me-am loat marşîna asta şi apartament. Acuma o duc bine. Am banii în bancă, mă doare-n pulă dă viaţă.

- Cât ai suferit. S-ar putea face un film meseriaş bazat pe viaţa ta. Din ăla dramă, dă plâns.

Cei doi au continuat să depene amintiri din propriile vieţi.

- Hai la mine acasă, întrerupse Emmy discuţia.

-De ce?

-Să-ţi dau telefonul.

Stii ce nu pricep eu? Cine dracu sunt toti oamenii astia si de ce ar trebui sa-mi pese de ei? Contrazic pe oricine zice ca stii, Knight Rider asta nou este cam superficial si prost asa pentru ca si originalul era cam prost si superficial asa. Tot ce e posibil, dar in orice moment ai fi ales sa te uiti la un episod din serialul original, invariabil dadeai de KITT si de Michael. Singuri-singurei. Acum trebuie sa suport two crazy bitches, pe Billy zis si “Copilu’ minune care juca in Battlestar Galactica, acuma i-e frica sa iasa din masina” si nu unul… ci DOI sefi! Michael Knight ar fi avut un atac de agorafobie in conditiile astea.

Pe de alta parte, in acest episod a fost imbratisata in totalitate prostia inerenta a serialului. Am senzatia ca producatorii vor sa transforme Knight Rider 2008 intr-un fel de Batman din 1966.

Teroristi pe post de surferi. Uite o scuza perfecta pentru a arata mai multe fete in bikini, printre care si Zoe. Pentru ca Michael a trebuit sa o aduca cu el pentru ca ea stie sa faca surf. Cum ne dam seama de asta? Pentru ca zice multi termeni care par sa aiba legatura cu surf-ul. Nu o vedem niciodata ca face surf in mod propriu-zis in serial. Asta e ca si cum eu as invata vreo trei termeni care au legatura cu fizica nucleara si ma angajez la o centrala nucleara. Dar stai asa… asta s-a intamplat deja intr-un serial!

Dar inapoi la Zoe, mie mi se pare enervanta si nici chiar asa de sexy. Nu are nici un pic de chimie cu Michael Traceur, dar pe de alta parte Michael are tot farmecul unui cos de rufe murdare. Desi a fost oarecum haios sa-l vad cum se crizeaza in episodul asta, ce expresii avea cand se dadea Zoe la el. Nu ca nu ar fi fost previzibil.

Nu inteleg insa care este fascinatia lui KITT vizavi de ritualurile de imperechere ale oamenilor. In serialul original, KITT il intreba pe Michael despre absolut toate aspectele naturii umane si incerca sa inteleaga in acelasi timp pentru a devenit el mai uman. KITT 2008 e un peste! Ar trebui sa-si schimbe numepe in PITT. Pimp Industries Two Thousand.

Ce ma enerveaza nu este atat ca show-ul este stupid ci lenes.  Efectele speciale mi se par deplorabile. KITT nu sare in apa ci dispare pur si simplu, dupa care in cadrul urmator il vedem in apa, desi din cate imi aduc eu aminte… nu era tocmai langa mal cand a avut loc explozia. Apoi cand iese din apa nici macar nu vedem propriu-zis cum iese din apa. Imi pare rau daca o plaja inclinata si cateva alge in mod evident false nu ma conving.

(8) Lampung Membawa Berkah

Saat di Madinah selama 8 hari, di mana sebagian besar jamaah haji Indonesia mengejar Arba'in, sholat berjamah 5 waktu tanpa putus di Masjid Nabawi Madinah selama 8 hari berturut-turut sehingga genap 40 waktu sholat, merupakan saat yang sedikit lebih rileks dan enjoyble. Selain  kota Madinah yang lebih tertata, bersih, teratur, dibandingkan dengan kota Mekah, iklim saat itu juga sangat mendukung, Madinah lebih sejuk dengan penduduk yang tampaknya lebih berpendidikan dan 'tidak tampak sangar dan garang'.

Mesjid Nabawi yang indah dikelilingi hotel berbintang dengan supermarket, toko, dan mall yang lebih wah dengan kualitas barang yang lebih bagus serta harga yang bersaing dengan harga barang di pasar traditional Mekah, Pasar Seng yang legendaris, yang saat tulisan ini dibuat, kabarnya sudah digusur dan tinggal kenangan.

Empat barang yang dijajakan sambil berbisik-bisik adalah: kadal Mesir, batu hajar jahanam, tongkat Ali dan Madu Yaman, yang keempat-empatnya dijadikan simbol kejantanan 'kelas' Arab.

Satu yang mengagetkan adalah ada sahabat yang berpesan bahwa, walaupun kita lelaki, kita tetap wajib berhati-hati untuk jalan seorang diri di tengah kerumunan orang Arab. Karena, demikian pesannya, lelaki Arab bukan saja suka dengan wanita non Arab tetapi juga suka dengan lelaki non Arab (walaupun tentu ini mestinya hanyalah oknum). Ini tampaknya kenapa dulu Allah pernah menghancurkan kota dalam kisah Sodom & Gomoroh, di jaman Nabi Yusuf dulu. Karena begitu banyaknya perilaku sexual menyimpang saat itu. Homo bertebaran di segenap penjuru kota di jaman itu. Jadi lebih baik jaga jarak, sisakan space saat kita tawar menawar atau sedang melihat barang dengan para penjual Arab itu. Karena seringkali, bukan hanya rangkulan yang begitu erat, menjepit leher, tarikan tangan setengah memaksa dengan pipi dilekatkan ke pipi kita dalam waktu lama dan tekanan yang intens (dari samping, bukan dari depan berhadapan seperti saat penerimaan tamu dari negara Arab itu lho) akan menjadi ucapan selamat datang yang mungkin biasa bagi mereka, tapi sungguh risi buat orang seperti saya ini yang tidak terbiasa dengan ritual semacam itu.

Di jeda waktu antar sholat Subuh ke Dzuhur atau Dzuhur ke Ashar, mayoritas jamaah Indonesia biasanya sight seeing ke berbagai mall tersebut. Ada yang betul-betul memborong barang, terutama emas Arab yang kadar kemurniannya 24 karat, ada yang sekedar jalan-jalan, seperti saya ini, yang bersyukur bahwa emas dan sutera diharamkan dalam Islam bagi laki-laki sehingga saya terhibur, karena memang tidak cukup punya uang untuk membeli kedua barang itu. Emas Arab dan sutera Thailand menjadi komoditi primadona para jamaah, terutama dari Indonesia.

Saya sedang mengamati sebuah miniatur pohon kurma berlapis emas yang tingginya tidak lebih dari 30 cm dengan bola-bola kristal sebagai hiasan buahnya, alangkah cantik dan luksnya hiasan itu, ketika seorang ibu,jamaah dari Lampung-Indonesia (terbaca dari badge di jasnya) sendirian,  tampaknya kebingungan akan membayar emas yang akan diborongnya, padahal sang penjual tidak mau pakai credit card.

"Ibu mau cari ATM?" tanya saya, mengerti benar bahwa perempuan sebaiknya tidak pergi sendirian apalagi ke ATM dan sebangsanya di Arab ini.

"Ya, Bapak juga mau ke sana?" tanyanya.

"Bareng saya Bu, " kata saya sambil menuju ke lantai dasar mall itu bersama istri saya.

"Silahkan Bu," kata saya mempersilahkan beliau ke ATM yang tak berpenutup itu

"Saya tidak mengerti bahasa Inggris dan tulisan Arab", kata beliau.

"Mari saya bantu, tapi ibu ketik saja nomor PIN nya dulu"

" Bapak saja yang melakukannya,"

"Nanti saya jadi tahu nomor PIN ibu dan transaksi yang akan ibu lakukan" kata saya

"Tidak apa-apa, saya percaya Bapak" katanya yakin.

Akhirnya saya bantu beliau mengambil uang yang menurut saya, buuuanyak banget, untuk memborong emas di Medinah itu.

"Sekarang silahkan Bapak," katanya mempersilahkan saya pakai ATM itu.

"Enggak Bu, saya enggak mau ambil uang kok."

"Jadi Bapak tadi turun dari lantai 3 dan jalan jauh-jauh ke sini cuma mau nganter saya?'

Saya mengangguk, karena memang di account saya nggak ada yang bisa diambil kok. Andalannya ya cuma credit card itu....ngisin-isini memang. Tapi ya saya tetep mencoba tersenyum....karena memang nggak ada gunanya njenggureng atau mrengut di tanah suci ini.  Senyum kan ibadah.

"Terima kasih," kata ibu itu sambil meninggalkan saya dan istri yang tak sadar mengelus-elus pergelangan tangannya yang sebiji gelangpun tak melingkar di sana. Kecuali gelang batu yang dibeli 5 real dari pedagang Afrika yang bertebaran di emperan.

"Gelang emas itu nanti akan bikin tanganmu panas dan mungkin gosong karena udara panas di Arab ini, jadinya ada flek hitam di tangan Mama. Kalau gelang batu ini, misal kepepet pager, bisa buat nyambit kirik atau anak anjing bandel yang suka ngganggu kita saat lari pagi di Arcamanik, Bandung nanti....' kata saya menentramkan hati istri dan terutama hati saya sendiri. Haji minimalis....banget-banget.

Singkat cerita kami kembali ke Indonesia dengan selamat dan mudah-mudahan mabrur. Tiga bulan setelah kondisi fisik beradaptasi kembali dengan alam Bandung yang sejuk permai ini, seorang bekas mahasiswa saya calling di hampir tengah malam. Minta saya memberikan briefing ke jajaran manajemen perihal Malcolm Baldrige yang bagi sebagian besar mereka itu masih misterius, semisterius kadal Mesir dan batu hajar jahanam yang, terbersit juga niat untuk membelinya, jika tidak ingat bahwa tanpa sugesti dan berbagai ramuan itu, anak saya juga sudah empat orang.

Saya menjadi sangat kaget, ketika mendapati bahwa alumni kami yang menjadi lantaran rezki dari Allah itu berada di Lampung, daerah tempat jamaah wanita dulu minta di antar ke ATM. Padahal seumur-umur saya tidak pernah ke Lampung dan tidak pernah terbayang akan pergi ke Lampung karena area jelajah selama ini paling ya Bandung, Semarang, Medan, Balikpapan, Jogjakarta, Padang, dan Jakarta. Karena sejatinya saya ini orang rumahan yang tidak begitu suka jajah praja milang kori, pergi-pergi ke banyak tempat. Entah kebetulan entah tidak, kok ya bisa ngepasi. Jadi ya sudah, alhamdulillah  

Synopsis: A small group of friends spend an evening playing their favorite fantasy roleplaying game. They spend time in a world of fantasy to escape the pressures and drama of real life. However, these real life factors begin to intrude into the escape.
