langsung aja gw buka web itu, wah iya ternyata ga bisa di buka webnya. Padahal emang yg gw tw web ini aktif bgt bwat nyediain hal2 yg baru entah itu software, driver, wallpaper, ebook, games. music. movie, dkk.
terus siang nya gw coba buka lagi, ehhhhh ternyata udah bisa ke buka n betul emang web itu habis di maintenace selama 3 hari.

Seperti biasa, aq langsung liat2 web itu n langsung tertarik ama artikel software yg judulnya "LeopardInspirat XP By Rubenernesto" terus aq liat preview dari skin ini. Wahhhhhhh ini dia skin bwat windows yg selama ini aq cari "MacOS in Windows" wekwkekwekwk :D. Ini gw kasih screen soutnya :

Нажимаем Alt-F2 и в появившемся окне вводим команду редактирования файла репозиториев: gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list Добавляем в открывшемся редакторе в конце файла две строчки:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/udienz/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/udienz/ubuntu hardy main

Открываем терминал и выполняем установку темы Mac4Lin:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mac4lin-themes

Открываем настройки через меню Система -> Параметры -> Внешний вид, щелкаем кнопку Настроить. Выбираем тему mac4lin-themes. Наш интерфейс сразу преображается:

Переходим во вкладку Рамка окна и также выбираем тему mac4lin-themes. У нас все окошки становятся маковскими:

В 0.4-той версии Mac4Lin существует один очень неприятный баг: при наведении мышкой на элементы управления типа CheckBox, они как бы инвертируются. Внимание! Проверьте есть ли у вас такая проблема (возможно в новых версиях она уже будет исправлена), и только после этого делайте ее исправление, иначе это приведет к неправильной работе. Официальное лекарство от разработчиков:

Тюнинг Firefox

Сейчас у нас Firefox выглядит совсем не по маковски:

Идем по ссылке, регистрируемся на сайте (это придется сделать, к сожалению) и устанавливаем новый скин для Firefox. Перезапускаемся:

Теперь совсем другое дело!

Нижняя панель

Обратите внимание, что для ее работы требуется включенное композитное расширение, а значит и быстрая видеокарта. Идем в меню Система -> Параметры -> Внешний вид, вкладка Визуальные эффекты и убеждаемся что стоит тип Экстра.

Снова добавляем новый репозиторий: Alt-F2, затем gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list Добавляем:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/awn-testing/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/awn-testing/ubuntu hardy main

Обновляем список

sudo apt-get update

И ставим по-порядку:

sudo apt-get install libawn0-trunk
sudo apt-get install libawn-dev-trunk
sudo apt-get install awn-manager-trunk
sudo apt-get install awn-extras-applets-trunk
sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-trunk

Щелкаем правой кнопкой мыши по нижней панели (на которой обычно отображается список запущенных приложений) и выбираем Убрать панель. Она нам больше не понадобится!

Выбираем в главном меню Приложения -> Стандартные -> Avant Window Navigator. Теперь мы видим прелесть, ради которой не жалко было избавится от старой панели таскменеджера. Щелкаем по левой голубой кнопке правой кнопкой и выбираем Dock Preferences.

В первой вкладке отмечаем галочками опции Automaticaly start AWN on login, и по желанию Автоматически скрывать панель, если она не используется:

Во вкладке Внешний вид панели рекомендую выбрать вид 3D Look. Переходим в разделу Applets (самому важному). Выбираем приложения, которые будут всегда у нас под рукой, для меня этот список такой:

• Awn Terminal Applet (удобный прозрачный всплывающий терминал)
• Battery Applet (сколько еще осталось батареек ноутбука?)
• File Browser (очень удобный быстрый поиск по файловой системе)
• Media Player (всегда под рукой)
• TsClient Applet (быстрый доступ к серверам по RDP)

If you're not, you should really check it out. This computer did things in 1985 that mainstream computers wouldn't end up doing for years - unfortunately, Commodore screwed the whole thing up, and it never got the chance to really break into the marketplace:

Yep. It had a pre-emptive multitasking operating system in 1985. For some context on how impressive this is:

The earliest pre-emptive multitasking OS available to home users was the AmigaOS released in 1985. Pre-emptive multitasking was later adopted on Apple Macintoshes by MacOS 9.x ^[1] as an additional API, i.e. the application could be programmed to use the pre-emptive or co-operative model, and all legacy applications were multitasked cooperatively within a single process. Mac OS X, being an Unix-like system, uses pre-emptive multitasking for all native applications, although Classic applications may be multitasked cooperatively as they run in fact under Mac OS 9 running as OS X process.

It took Apple until MacOS 9.x to implement this as an additional API.

MacOS 9 was introduced in 1999. (Granted, Windows NT/9x and Unix/Linux had this sooner than MacOS.)
