Desde ya hace un par de dias (Desde el 2 de Septiembre exactamente) todo mundo habla de Google Chrome, que es ni más ni menos que el Navegador (Browser), de Google.

Al principio, aparte de recordar mi gráfica integrada "UniChrome", senti una apuñalada por la espalda a Firefox, ya que Google ha apoyado muchisimo a la fundación Mozilla, desde favorecer Firefox en las busquedas, dar publicidad, darle su pagina principal, incluso le ha donado cantidades enormes de dinero, hasta 57 millones de Dólares. Aunque creo que aparte de su nuevo hijo, seguirá apoyandolo, ya que apenas en agosto de este mismo año, alargo su contrato con Mozilla por 3 años.

Despues de bajarlo, me dí cuenta de su rapidez, "¡Dios mio esta cosa vuela!" me dije, es tan ligero y tan sencillo que sin duda ganó a Firefox. Adjunto un video de la comparación entre Chrome y Firefox:

Sin duda Chrome es bastante rápido, cosa que a los de Mozilla les ha movido el tapete (aunque no se preocupen Firefoxeros, que Firefox 3.1 será mas rapido, gracias a TraceMonkey).

• Of course the PwnageTool 2.0.3.1 itself, and install it;
• Bootloaders versions 3.9 and 4.6 (both versions in one archive) - do not forget to extract it;
• Download and install iTunes 7.7.1 (if not installed);
• The original iPhone firmware 2.0.2:

Download firmware for the iPhone;

Download firmware for iPhone 3G (officially unlocked);

Download firmware for iPhone 3G (locked).

Attention! After the upgrade, all the data from the iPhone will be erased.

In order to avoid misunderstandings, the descriptions of each image are written above.

So, download and install the necessary files, connect the iPhone to the computer and run iTunes. Hold Alt/Option key and click "Restore". And provide the way to just downloaded firmware and wait until iTunes update your iPhone.

When iTunes finish, run PwnageTool, choose your device, in this case, it's simple iPhone (not 3G), in the bar at the top click 'Expert Mode' and click 'next' in the lower right corner (blue square).

Then wait a few seconds until the program finds downloaded firmware.

Once the file is found, select it and click 'next'.

Now double-click on the line 'General', it will open the options menu.

For officially unlocked 3G necessarily remove a tick from "Activate the phone". If the option "Enable Baseband"   available, put the tick then. And the rest, if you know what other options in this menu means, then adjust that options as you need, if not, leave it as shown in the picture below and press next.

In the next menu use the same technology ;) - if you know the option meanings adjust it, if not, put all ticks as shown in the picture and press next.

Then comes the packages menu of Cydia, who knows what this program is and enjoy it, they can add the needed packages, in another case, leave everything as it was and press next. In fact, Cydia is an alternative of Installer, Cydia has a higher popularity. And Installer is in beta. Read about Installer here, for Cydia here.

In next menu, you can choose whether install to your iPhone Cydia and (or) Installer or not. Press next.

In the final options menu you can choose alternative images for your iPhone. You may add your own pictures. Press next.

Finally, click to 'Build' and push next.

If you doing this procedure for the first time, the program will ask you about Bootloaders, which we downloaded. So there will appear like this notice:

Click on the "NO" and will appear next box:

Click 'YES' and provide the way to the file 'bootloader 3.9' from the downloaded archive. Then appears next box, but with the request for 'bootloader 4.6'. Again, in the first box, push 'NO', in the second box press 'YES' and this time provide to the file 'bootloader 4.6' from the archive we downloaded.

After that appears next request. If your iPhone is officially unlocked - your answer 'YES', if not - 'NO' (for the iPod Touch not available).

Select the name of the file and provide where to save it.

Now wait about a minute while building IPSW.

There's going to be notice that you should enter the password. Enter it and continue to wait about a minute.

Then program will ask you whether has your iphone pwned before or not. If you are not sure, click 'NO'.

Since then, the program notifies you that the custom firmware is created. Now close PwnageTool,  connect the phone to the computer and put the iphone to recovery mode. To enter iphone to this special mode, push and hold two buttons on the iPhone (top and bottom) until its turned off and release the top button, but lower continue to hold exactly 10 seconds after that on the screen will appear image with iTunes logo. iTunes will automatically detects the phone, click 'OK'. Now, holding down 'Alt/Option' key on the keyboard and click 'Restore' and provide the way to custom firmware (do not mix with the original).

Finally, you have to wait until iTunes update your iPhone, it will take about two minutes. After this on the screen you'll see unlock process it takes less then a minute. If you did everything correctly and your phone upgraded, my congratulations, if something wrong or you just have questions, just ask me.

Occorrente:

- iPod Touch con fw 2.0.x jailbreakto, con open SSH installato.

- Installer 4 beta;

- WinSCP;

- Putty;

Per collegarvi tramite WInSCP dovrete impostare il nome del server (cioè l'IP che acquisisce l'iPod nella vostra rete WiFi), la porta 22 (default), il nome utente (root) e la password (alpine).

Per vedere l'IP acquisito potete usare l'app WhatIP disponibile tramite Cydia.

Tramite WinSCP si trasferisce la cartella di Installer sul terminale.

A questo punto si passa a Putty (Comandi > Apri in Putty)

La password è la stessa di prima (alpine).

A questo punto bisogna digitare:

cd /private/var/stash/Applications.XhCgwM  (invio)

chmod -R 777 Installer.app   (invio)

cd /private/var/stash/Applications.XhCgwM/Installer.app   (invio)

chmod a+srx Installer   (invio)

A questo punto si riavvia l'iPod e si ottiene:

Update: Well that was quick... turns out the Adikus are beta updates of the 1.1.4 jailbroken apps... You must use an activation key to use the app, thus making them useless. Why? Because they are not selling new keys!!! What a waste

wondering how you can make your own iphone theme?  well, the hardest part about it is that if you really want to customize your own icons, you are going to have to make them.  but compiling them doesn't have to be so difficult.  once you have your icons, wallpaper, etc. in place, then all you have to to is compile them through this great WYSIWYG site called http://iphonethememaker.com/.  simply click and choose what you want to change on the theme and hit compile when you are done.  after hitting compile you are given options on uploading it into your phone.  don't worry, they've even thought it out for you so all you need to do is follow their step-by-step instructions.  remember, this is for basic themes but if you are graphics-savvy then you shouldn't have any trouble making something great:)  and you can perhaps even start your own theme repository for Cydia or Installer in the future.

Steps To Hack Nokia S60 Phone

• Install freeware X-plore, a file manager from Lonely Cat Games. Run X-Plore, press 0 and check first 4 boxes. Don’t exit.
• Install and run HelloCarbide by FCA00000.
• Switch to X-plore and check if you can see the contents of C:/sys/. If you can, then you are halfway done. If not, try step 2 again.
• Download CapsOnOff.rar by FCA00000.
• Copy CProfDriver_SISX.ldd from RAR downloaded above into C:\sys\bin of your phone. You can do this with X-Plore.
• Install CapsOn.sisx and CapsOff.sisx. Run CapsOff application to turn on the hack.
• Download SIS installer mod for Symbian 9.2 and copy installserver.exe file to c:\sys\bin\ so you can install unsigned applications
• Install ROMPatcher by Zorn.
• Whenever you need to install an unsigned application or patch your phone, just run the CapsOff application first. CapsOn brings it back to normal state.
